Introduce yourself. What is your role at Quext?
Forward-thinking and self-directed HR professional with significant experience providing strategic Human Resources leadership. Successfully partnering with leaders to provide effective leadership, mentoring, and teamwork within fact-paced and competitive environments. Over my career I’ve worked in a variety of industries through mergers, acquisitions and managed change. Recognized as a visionary leader who inspires employees to achieve extraordinary results and provide excellent customer service. I’m excited to be a business partner that directs all aspects of the HR functions within Quext!
What is your background?
I received my BS Education from Lubbock Christian University, then my Master Education Administration from Texas Tech University. When starting at Texas Instruments, I was supervisor of the Semiconductor Training Department in Lubbock. After a few years, then I moved to Human Resources and that is the field I have been in for several years. I served as Director of HR at Texas Instruments in the Semiconductor Division and Consumer Products. After about 18 years, then I transitioned to Covenant Health System as HR leader to merge two hospitals and medical groups together. Then I transitioned to Suddenlink Communications as the HR leader for a few years.
What is your favorite thing about working for Quext?
It is exciting to work with visionary leaders and staff. The future is so bright for Quext and I’m thrilled to be part of it. When you see talented people working together in creating new technology you can’t help but get excited. When residents see the new tools that will be available to them in their home, they will enjoy having that technology at their finger tips.
