Residents can add a digital key to Apple Wallet in seconds, then tap their iPhone or Apple Watch to unlock doors, gates, and common areas instantly. It’s as easy as one, two, three.
1. Assign Access: Property staff issue digital keys through the Quext admin portal. No hardware, no hassle.
2. Add to Wallet: Residents receive a secure link or in-app notification. One tap adds the key to Apple or Google Wallet.

Will the wallet key still work if the resident’s phone is offline or dead?
Yes. Apple Wallet access works without Wi-Fi or cell service, so residents can still unlock doors even if their phone is in airplane mode or out of range. And if their iPhone battery dies, Power Reserve mode allows the wallet key to function for up to five additional hours, so they’re never locked out when it matters most.
Why is this any better than a key fob or app?
